Statue of Queen Meritamun, Tell Basta. The once 4th daughter and then wife of Ramesses II (c.1279–1213 BC). Her mother was the famous Queen Nefertari, and after her death, she also became a Great Royal Wife of Ramesses II. This colossal pink granite statue weighs an astonishing 80 tons and stands at 9m high.
